During the year, with the help of the ARLIFT technique, tens of assembly brigades perform glazing of hundreds of country houses on the territory of the whole country. All projects are unique in their own way. But the object in the cottage village of Kissolovo, Leningrad region, located in a picturesque hilly area, is particularly interesting.
It was during the glazing of the Finnish stone house Lammi in Kissolovo that three vacuum grippers ARLIFT were used at once: two models Glass Boy 500 with a load capacity of 500 kilograms and a novelty of the past year, the only gripper in Russia intended for mounting large radial large glasses weighing up to 1.5 tons - KAPPEL DSMH2.
The tasks were as follows:
1. perform mounting under the visor of large-sized glass weighing 750 kilograms
2. mount a light window above the front staircase, whose dimensions are 5400 x 1700 mm
(!)
To solve the first problem, we applied our "exclusive" - the vacuum grip KAPPEL DSMH2. The equipment was used together with the traverse and without difficulty, despite the minus temperatures (the installation was made in mid-January at -11 Со), managed to glazed panoramic windows. Due to the large weight of the glass, the installation was carried out in a horizontal position.
To solve the second task, KIVITALO specialists approached non-trivially - for the installation of light glass 5.4 meters in length, were used both vacuum grippers Glass Boy 500 simultaneously. As a result, the total payload of the equipment was 1000 kilograms, and the glass was captured evenly from both sides. Thus, the light glass above the front staircase was mounted in a short time.
As mentioned above, the work was arried out in January, at minus temperature, but this didn’t affect the performance of the equipment.
The installation of glass with the help of ARLIFT technology specialists of the construction company KIVITALO was completed in just two days.
KIVITALO is a regular customer of ARLIFT, which provides a full range of services for the design and construction of energy efficient stone houses from Finland.
