Installation and dismantling on the territory of the Khrabrovo airport

Work on the installation and dismantling of metal structures is a usual thing for us. But the installation in the beautiful city of Kaliningrad, and even as part of the reconstruction of the Khrabrovo airport, occupies a special place in the ARLIFT portfolio.

Airport Khrabrovo is an international airport located 20 km from the city center near the village of the same name.

The airport was opened in 1922 and was called “Povuden”, after which, in the 60s, it was retrained to a joint-base airport, where civil aircraft, state aircraft and (or) experimental aircraft were jointly located.

For several years, the reconstruction of the airport lasted, in which the ARLIFT equipment took part.

From January to March 2018, the most popular in the Arlift line of mini-crane Jekko SPX527 worked at the airport. In the shortest possible time the equipment was delivered to the construction site - from Moscow to Kaliningrad. The very next day the equipment began to work.

The mini-crane was required to perform a number of tasks:

• Installation of ceiling beams weighing from 300 to 2150 kg;
• Dismantling beams weighing 400-600 kg.

In an extremely short period of time, the mini-crane Jekko SPX527 completed its tasks.

The company Eurogroup, which carried out the installation, decided to leave the mini-crane of the ARLIFT company to lift pallets with aerated concrete, tiles, glue and putty from the second to the third floor, as this took too much time and the deadlines were tight.

Thanks to the ARLIFT technique, the production process was significantly accelerated, which made it possible to commission the facility on time!
