Glazing in a confined space using the Arlift technique
Modern architectural solutions are increasingly becoming an integral part of life, and if earlier unusual forms could be found mainly in large cities, now such technologies have come to low-rise and private housing construction. For example, recently panoramic glazing has become popular, and preference is given to large-format glasses, not wanting to divide the view from the window into parts. With the installation of large-sized double-glazed windows, the Arlift technique will do an excellent job!
The SPX527 mini crane and vacuum gripper helped to glaze a private house with panoramic windows. The weight of the windows reached 500 kg, and the dimensions were 2 by 3 meters. At the same time, the main difficulty was that the installation took place in a limited space. Due to its compact size, mini cranes can perform work where conventional equipment cannot even drive up. And the light weight of the equipment allows you to perform work on the roof, floors, underground.
The SPX527 mini crane with a maximum lifting capacity of 2.7 tons is designed for various construction works, including formwork installation, glazing, cargo transportation. The built-in intelligent system allows you to fully control the operation of the crane. On the screen installed on the control panel, we can see the boom departure and the weight of the cargo being lifted at a given time.
Thanks to the remote control control, the operator can move around the site and control every movement of the equipment with jewelry precision. In addition, the ability to work both from the internal combustion engine and from the 380 V network allows you to use the equipment even indoors.
For convenience, mini cranes can be equipped with additional equipment. For example, a vacuum manipulator, a goose, a grabber or a vacuum gripper.
In this case, we used vacuum equipment of the company's own production — Arlifter GS-500, which is designed for the installation of sandwich panels and glass weighing up to 500 kg.
One of the main advantages of the Arlifter GS-500 vacuum gripper is the dehumidification system, which allows installation in all weather conditions: both in rain and snow, and even at subzero temperatures (up to -25 ° C). A backup vacuum storage, sound and light alarms, safety slings guarantee maximum safety when performing work.
Thanks to the well-coordinated work of installers, special equipment and crane operator, all the work was done with proper quality and on time!
